PRP are an experienced multidisciplinary team of structural, civil and geotechnical engineers and have a vacancy for an Assistant Geo-environmental Consultant/Engineering Geologist to join our expanding team in Pitsford, Northamptonshire.

Key responsibilities

  • Support both field and office work across environmental and geotechnical projects
  • Work on projects from initial walkover to verification of remedial works
  • Assist with site assessments and investigations
  • Help prepare reports and technical documents
  • Work with experienced colleagues and contribute to meaningful project outcomes

Key attributes & skills

  • A degree in environmental science or geology
  • Minimum 1 years' relevant industry experience (flexible for the right candidate)
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Experience of writing Phase I reports
  • Understanding of contamination assessments from Stage 1 Tier 1 to Stage 3
  • Experience of geo-environmental and geotechnical site work
  • Experience of soil and rock logging under BS5930
  • Good communication skills and confidence with basic software (MS Office)
  • Good critical thinking skills for interpretation and technical reports
