PRP have recently donated to the newly formed McCarthy-Dixon Foundation which launched during the pandemic in 2020 to help alleviate hunger and provide essential supplies to those in need. They are also enhancing wellbeing and improving the standard of living for Northampton residents, particularly those who have been faced with sudden and unexpected hardship.
As well as supporting 52 schools in Northampton with breakfast boxes to ensure that children who have not had breakfast are fed, they also support young adults leaving the care system, NHS Community Health and many more community groups.
They also offer a daily food larder, have provided laptops to school children, operate a doorstep buddy programme to help with loneliness, offer help with garden/room renovations and much more.
Teresa McCarthy, who founded the charity, has recently won the ‘Community Project or Person of the Year’ at the Northampton Business Awards.
Well done to Teresa and all the volunteers – keep up the excellent work.
