UPS Tamworth experienced a significant water leak over several months, which was eventually located and repaired. However, there are concerns that the prolonged leak may have eroded the underlying stratum, potentially compromising the stability of the road above.
To address these concerns, PRP conducted an extensive road stability assessment which included drilling in the affected area.
The purpose of this drilling was to examine the road construction and underlying geology. Additionally, PRP undertook a period of groundwater monitoring to assess any ongoing issues.
Following this investigative period, we provided a comprehensive report detailing our observations and conclusions regarding the road’s stability and the underlying geological conditions.
