We were appointed by the client to undertake full civil and structural engineering services for a new build property that contains 3 3-bedroom dwellings.

PRP overcame drainage challenges to ensure acceptance by the drainage authority and undertook a complete detailed and fully coordinated design for the Client and worked with them throughout the Construction phase to ensure the smooth construction of the project.

The building consisted of a varying depth trench fill foundation solution and concrete floor at ground, first and second floors. It had a steel framed cut roof to maximise the floor space provided and the garage and side wing had to adopt a piled foundation solution to avoid damaging tree
roots at depth.

The surface water drainage was attenuated onsite and later discharged into foul sewer network as soakaway in this area did not work and surface water sewers were absent.

Our Client sold this property during the construction phase and we provided support answering any queries from the purchasers to help progress the sale.
