PRP were responsible for the foundation design, external works, flood risk assessments and all aspects of drainage design for a 384 apartment build-to-rent project located at the former 68,000 sq. ft. Merlin Works site on Bath Lane, Leicester.
The scheme comprised 256 one bedroom and 128 two bedroom apartments within three towers that reach to 10, 14 and 16 storeys high. There is also a ground floor commercial unit, a two-level under croft car park and a shared outdoor space for residents, created via 5, 8 and 9 storey raised podiums.
A key design feature of this build is the large floor to ceiling windows which provide light rooms and capture stunning views across the city.
